In the world lives over 550 million handicapped humans. I every country at least one out of 10 person is handicapped phisically intellectually, or it shows the demolitions in sphere of senses. In wide group handicapped (10% population of our globe), the persons with mental handicap are the most unpopular social group. Conducted in 2002 year the population general census shew, that in our society the handicapped persons make up 11,6% the total population, from this 2% spends in objects collective quartered. Material and methods. The goal of the thesis is to estimate physical ability women's handicapped to a moderate and large degree, who live in the Nursing Home in Legnickie Pole. The group consist of 60 women in the age from 42 to 51, the age averaged out of 47 years: 30 of them are handicapped to a moderate degree and 30 to a large. In order to estimate the level of physical ability, the Eurofit Special test, adjusted to handicapped people, was used. Results. Analysis of results of general physical ability as jumping skills, endurance, flexibility, rapidity, strength and balance show, that people handicapped to a moderate degree get better results in every test, comparing to the results people handicapped to a large degree. However, difference in average results in an endurance test can be dismissed from statistical point of view. It was established that physical ability, whatever the level of mental or physical disorder is, depends on personal characteristic handicapped person. The lower level of physical ability is, the larger is degree of disorder. Conclusions. Results of these tests prove, that people with mental disorder extended to a large degree have a lower physical general abilities comparing to people handicapped to a moderate degree. |
